Jorge Stever was born in the city of Templin, Germany, on August 9, 1940. He was a contemporary painter and sculptor, known for his work of lyrical abstraction, realism and minimalism, he was one of the members of the group of New Realism and German Pop Art. He died in Caracas, Venezuela, on October 24, 2019.
